I am so afraid
I am too much, too loud
Too moody for your delicate feelings
I wish I could change the way
I see myself and the world

I am so afraid
I am too self-centered
And I forget your feelings in the process
Why am I not the God
You deserve by your side

I am so afraid
I am fueled by hate
There’s not an ounce of pureness
In my rotten body
And my ugly thoughts

I am so afraid
I don’t know what’s real
The only thing i know is that I fear
That you’ll see me
And see what I see

I am so afraid
To be alone
I won’t put the burden on you
To fix me
But please hold me

I am so afraid
Of breaking
Because I know what you are to me
But I can never know
What I am in your eyes
